York County Crime Stoppers
York County Crime
Stoppers is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1987.
It is operated by an all volunteer, civilian board of directors.
Crime Stoppers is funded by community donations and fundraising
efforts. The purpose of Crime Stoppers is to: assist in the
reduction of Crime in York County; make reward money available
to those providing valid information about crimes; and to
motivate the citizens of York County to cooperate with Law
Enforcement. Crime Stoppers is based on the principle that
someone, other than the criminal, probably has information that
is valuable in solving a crime. All calls to Crime Stoppers are
confidential and treated as protected information. If
information about an unsolved crime leads to an arrest, the
caller is eligible for a cash reward.

Tipster $500 Reward
(York,
PA) York County Crime Stoppers is providing a $500 reward to
a tipster who anonymously provided information, which led to the
arrest of Brandon Jones.As a result of the tip, Jones, age 29
and of York City, was arrested by the York City Police
Department for a home invasion and charged with aggravated
assault, burglary, and receiving stolen property. Crime
Stoppers is a non-profit community program, operated by
citizens. The program is based on the principle that
someone, other than the criminal, has information that is
valuable in solving a crime.
York County Crime Stoppers provides several methods for people
to anonymously provide crime-related tips. If the
information leads to the resolution of a crime, tipsters could
be eligible for a cash reward! Here are the ways tipsters
